This Sunday, we are putting our thinking caps on and pondering the question, “Why believe in the church?” This is an important question, because we live in a culture that rarely asks questions like this.

We will tackle this question by looking at the church from a biblical perspective. When we do that, we find that the Jesus started the church to be countercultural, the body of Christ, and the family of God. We will look at each of these perspectives in the message.

In addition, we will look at the reason Jesus brought his followers together to establish the church.
