Paul: Lessons on Conflict
This Sunday, we are looking at how Paul handled conflict. Paul had success during his first missionary journey, but that didn’t typically define his ministry.
In most places, Paul experienced great hardship and suffering. Some of that hardship and suffering came from conflicts of other people’s making. Some of the conflicts came from Paul being hardheaded, opinionated, and stubborn.
Today, text offers a snippet of a conflict that had to have been one of the most difficult and embarrassing for all involved. It was a conflict that ended a deep relationship that was forged over year and a thousand miles of missionary work.
Today, we look at the conflict between Paul, Barnabas, and John Mark.
